Vosloorus’ Duppyy Dances His Way to Victory at the Red Bull Dance Your Style Joburg Leg
Vosloorus’ very own Tumelwano Mofokeng, better known as “Duppyy,” has been crowned as the latest winner of Red Bull Dance Your Style regional qualifiers. The 18-year-old dancer brought unmatched energy, confidence and undeniable flair to the dance floor, winning over the crowd in a competition where the audience ultimately decides the champion.
What started as a day of pure enjoyment quickly turned into a defining moment for the young dancer. Reflecting on his win, Duppyy shared, “When I came here, I just wanted to have fun but winning has made me realise how important this is to me, I’m very grateful.”
This marks the final regional leg of the competition, following electrifying qualifiers held across the country. With all regional winners now decided, the dancers will go head-to-head at the National Finals in Bloemfontein, where one champion will earn the opportunity to represent South Africa at the World Final.
Duppyy’s victory not only secures his place among the country’s best but signals the arrival of a fearless young talent ready to take on the nationals.
