Joburg Festival of Lights Celebrates Ballet at the Heart of this Week’s Line-Up

This week’s festivities will kick off on Thursday with a DJ, a magician, and music from Bongi Archi and Max, who will usher patrons into the festive season with carols at the Tree of Light lawn. A dazzling illuminated tunnel will lead the way to the largest tree in Johannesburg, which is also beautifully lit.

The festivalwill continue with a one-of-a-kind performance by the multi-talented BongiArchi, who will blend live music and performance with the DJ and the Magicianfor an exhilarating show. Thursday evening will be filled with electrifyingbeats, mesmerizing illusions, and live musical flair, setting the tone for aweekend of excitement and entertainment.

On Friday, theRussian Youth Ballet, a crowd favorite and the festival’s highlight, will takethe stage, bringing their stunning classical ballet to Joburg. Known for theirartistry and breathtaking precision, the Russian Youth Ballet captivatesaudiences year after year.
