To introduce Becks Green in Mzansi, Your Alter Ego was invited to a Friday afternoon of burgers and, yes, you guessed it right… beer.
If Beck’s beer rings a bell, well you might be familiar with Becky’s Blue beer, which is the non-alcoholic offering. It was initially launched in SA in 2010 and has been doing well globally (considered as the best non-alcoholic beer in the world).
Fast forward to 2018, and here we in Mzansi, finally being introduced to the world’s No. 1 German beer – Becky’s Green. The German Pilsner, which has been around for 140 years in over 85 countries, is one of the first beers in the world to be in a green bottle.

Here are some of Your Alter Ego's favourite shots from the afternoon...
Golden in colour, with a distinctive aroma, Becks is made only from hops, malt, barley, and water.
It is definitely one of the best beers I’ve ever tasted – it is full of character, intense bitterness, with a dry and clean finish. But hey, I’ll let you be the judge. So, go and grab yourself a Becky’s and let us know what you think of the taste!
